Short Bio

Dr Strahinja Kovačević is a teaching assistant at Department of Applied and Engineering Chemistry, Faculty of Technology Novi Sad, University of Novi Sad. He received his PhD in Technology Engineering in 2015 at Faculty of Technology Novi Sad. After PhD studies, he continued his education participating in several training schools held at Universities in USA, Italy, Austria and Czech Republic.

His scientific interest is mainly focused on application of various regression and pattern recognition chemometric methods in agriculture, food technology and pharmaceutical engineering. Dr Kovačević currently participate in two national and two international scientific projects and is the author of more than 40 scientific papers. He is a member of International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) and the Serbian Chemical Society.
