This WG is related to the experimental assessment and monitoring of the indoor climate of animal production buildings and its related ammonia and GHG emissions. It aims at reviewing the techniques for measuring emissions, for studying the pollutants dispersion on local, regional and transboundary scale and for monitoring thermal conditions and ventilation rates.
The specific objective is to define guidelines and standards on experimental protocols used to assess environmental and air quality for different animal production buildings. This includes the use of different sensors, data analysis and development of emission factors
- Experimental assessment inventory: Inventory and assessment of guidelines / standards / experimental protocols / sensors used to assess indoor environment and air quality for different animal production buildings
- Data treatment: Selection and configuration of meta data (units, coordinate system of spatially resolved measurements, file format).
- Validation of different measurement techniques for harmonization of measurement variations among the techniques
- Aggregate measurement data to emission factors.
